Good Day to One and all
It was only going to be a matter of time before we lost a week due to the weather, as we did last week, but thankfully we got back to playing again this week, with the very frustrating 4 clubs and a Putter - I am sure the Winners and Runners-up won't think it was as their choice of clubs obviously worked - but plenty will have wished to have picked a different set than they did !!
One pairing who certainly made the right club selection were our Winners on 45 points - The Big Man himself (Ian McGloughlin) and his trusted partner Dave Gamble - Finding it much easier with 4 Clubs and a putter each, than a Full set Each, well done both enjoy the Prize money and the shot reduction. Coming in 2nd this week were young Aaron and Lewis, both fresh from their disappointment of being DQ'd the last time out, and I am sure they double checked everything this week before submitting their 43 point card, which on most other weeks in this format would have taken first place.
Well done to Raffa who books his place in the NP shootout, after winning the NP with a distance of 8ft - Still nobody challenging 'Van Der Valk' however as he stays in 1st spot with his 2ft 4" from week 1.
Only 4 x 2's this week which paid out £15 (£7.50 to each player)
The next round of the Knockouts is looming, and you only have 2 weeks to arrange your Game - Please make contact with your opponents to arrange - If it has to be 1 v 1, then so be it - But please get it sorted if you have not done already.
This coming Sunday sees the 2nd allocation for subs to start - so if you have used 3 Subs, you can now use your other 3 - if you have used none, then you can use 6 between weeks 8 to Finish - Remembering that no Sub can appear for the same pair more than 3 Times - any issues just ask.
Next weeks Format will be Bogey Medal - I shall send out the rules for this at some point this week anyway for those unfamiliar with it.
