Winter League Week 19

Good Morning
After playing Saturday, i did have my reservations about the course being open, as certain areas are much wetter than others. I did play with DB actually, and we had a chat about this and that, and whilst he is well aware some areas are in need of repair, getting any machinery out to certain areas is impossible during this present climate. It does him good to play the course and get constructive feedback, he also gets to see other areas of the course - unfortunately this is not the middle of the fairway, especially after his Drive - Joking aside keep going DB and stay focused on the Course and we will have that Pint in a couple of weeks 👍
So the Sun came out, and the 19th Week of the WL unfolded as follows. Winners on the day were Ged and Bob (see main Photo) , who shot a very commendable 62 on the day, and by doing so threw their Cap in the ring for a late run at the WL Title. However the consistency of Both Nashy / Guy over the last 3 weeks has been close to perfection, as they have finished 2nd in those weeks and added 32 points to their overall total. Their score of 63 (28 on Back 9 - Which also included 8 x 3 gross and Guy Having 4 Birdies) was equalled by James / Adam (30 on Back 9) Passport 2 and Heir Flick (33 on back 9).
NP Winner on the day and booking a slot in the Shoot out final, was Phil Rawlinson with a Shot to 5ft 3" - Well done Phil.
On the League front anyone of the top 7 pairs can win this, however with Nashy and Guy extending their Lead to 17 points, the chasing pack must hope that the leaders do not pick up any points, but they all must at least win 1 of the final 2 weeks, and in some cases win both. The league could be over next week, if the result goes their way, but they are now huge odds on Favourites to win the WL for the First time.
Next week we will be playing American Greensomes - this format will be posted later in the week.
