Our Winter Open Series is designed for golfers who want to enjoy competitive golf when many courses are closed.
Bury GC benefits from exceptional natural drainage, complemented by strategic man-made drainage systems, which means our course remains open throughout the year when other courses are closed.
The result is that we use summer greens (temp greens only for frost) and no fairway mats — just quality golf 12 months of the year. All events are Singles Stableford, open to men and women, with tee times typically starting at 8:00 a.m.

Entry & What’s Included
We keep it simple and good value. Your entry covers the competition, the 2’s, and a food voucher to be used on the day — no add-ons or surprises.

Order of Merit (Optional)
If you like a challenge, enter the Winter Series Order of Merit once and chase consistent scoring across the programme.
~ £10 one-off entry (separate to event fees).
~ Every penny collected is paid out as prizes.
~ Your best three scores from the five events count towards your final OoM position.

We want the prizes to feel meaningful and fair, rewarding both great days out and great golf.
