Dress Code

We hope you will enjoy your day at Bury Golf Club and in order to maintain the standards we ask of our own members we ask you to be aware of our dress code and etiquette policies.

On the course, we do NOT allow jeans, collarless shirts and tee shirts or tracksuits. Tailored shorts are acceptable when worn with matching sports socks.

Mobile phones should be set to silent.

In the clubhouse, smart jeans and smart, clean training shoes are allowed. Please change footwear before entering the clubhouse.Golf caps must be removed before entering the clubhouse.

Course Information

Designed By Alister Mackenzie, Charles Alison. Built in 1890, Bury Golf Club welcomes golfers at all levels and offers a friendly atmosphere in which to enjoy a course containing some classic holes including 3 designed with the famous McKenzie two-tier greens.

Although not long at 6063 yards the course requires accuracy more than length in order to score well.
