Call for Members Support – Festival Week 19th to 25th July
B.G.C. Festival Week will only attract good visitor levels if we provide an excellent golf course, outstanding inhouse services and well organised administration.
Two key admin roles are Meet and Greet registration and Competition Starters.
In this year Festival Week, we have 5 competitions each needing 8 members on the Meet and Greet table and 4 members acting as Competition Starters.
In the entrance in the club house a sheet has been posted showing the 60 time slots for the 5 competitions. Members who wish to carry out these roles are asked to enter their names on this sheet.
Each time slot is up to 2 hours which is really a meagre payback for all the hard work and dedication we all receive from the Comps Team throughout the year.
If any new member or in fact, any older members, who would like to participate in these roles and are unsure what it involves give Ian Foulkes a call on 07975968135 and all will be explained.
For the rest of the members, including our old hands, the message is simple – get your names down as soon as possible – please.
