Course information
Bury Golf Club is an 18 hole course and described as semi-moorland, it is undulating and considered to be a fair test of golf. It has recently had many improvements during 2011 including some new tees, greens and pathways which have enabled us to provide ride-on buggies during the main season. The course is not long although as part of the changes some holes have been lengthened.
The test in playing the course comes not from being a big hitter but more from accuracy and placement in order to find your way to the excellent greens we provide.
We have 2 par 5's, both being very hard to reach in 2 shots. There are 4 par threes and each one has its own character. The remaining 12 par 4's are varied in length, difficulty and wind direction making the course interesting and enjoyable for all standards of player.
In 2013 our green fees reflect both weekday and weekend play. We also offer peak, off Peak, Off Peak and Twilight tee times with further reductions for 3 and 4 balls.
We are pleased to offer our visitors a full range of catering.
Tee shirts, collarless shirts or tracksuits are not allowed in the Clubhouse nor on the course at any time. For our full dress code please click "more".
Handicap certificates are not required but for the enjoyment of all you should be of a sutable golfing standard. The course is not suitable for people who have little or no experience.
